Freedom 3D Tutorials

Hey guys, how to design new 3D cloth for your Vroid Studio manga avatar by using Marvelous Designer, be a new tailor, design your new cloth, dress him/her and make your 3D animation? This is not limited to the cloth template in Vroid Studio. You can create your own cloth! This is my step-by-step tutorial on how to do this! ENJOY! and have fun! Happy animation and game dev! ENJOY!

STEP 01 – AVATAR DESIGN
Design an avatar in Vroid Studio
Export as FBX

STEP 02 – CLOTH DESIGN
import Vroid FBX into Marvelous Designer in Meter scale
design a cloth in Marvelous Designer
export cloth mesh as OBJ

STEP 03 – UV MAPPING AND TEXTURING
import into Blender
arange UV mapping properly
export UV layout
create a texture sample
export cloth FBX embeded texture, scale 0.01

STEP 04 – BINDING AND SKIN WEIGHT
import vroid avatar into Autodesk Maya
import shirt into maya
bind skin weight
export as FBX
test in other 3D software eg. iClone
DONE!
