Hey guys! how to use webcam/camera/video/MP4 to MOCAP (motion capture) for Unreal Engine for FREE? You can use a webcam or MP4 video to capture any body motions and send it to your Unreal Engine as Animation Sequence. This is my step-by-step tutorial on how to do this! ENJOY! and have fun! Workflow summary in this video:
mocap using the ThreeDTracker
export as BVH
open ThreeDTracker.iAvatar in 3DXchange
import BVH into 3DXchange motion library
export as rlMotion
export avatar skeletal mesh from Unreal Engine,
Send to 3DXchange to make T-pose
make a non-standard avatar in 3DXchange
export as an iAvatar backup
Send iMotion/rlMotion to 3DXchange motion library
export as FBX motion with Unreal Engine target tool preset.
import motion into Unreal Engine
