Hey guys! how to use webcam/camera/video/MP4 to MOCAP (motion capture) for Maya for FREE? You can use a webcam or MP4 video to capture any body motions and apply to any 3D avatar in your Maya as 3D animation keframe. This is my step-by-step tutorial on how to do this! ENJOY! and have fun! WORKFLOW SUMMARY in this video:
Open ThreeDPoseTracker
use Webcam camera or MP4 Video
record bvh
save bvh
open 3DXchange 7,
import ThreeDPoseTracker.iAvatar
import bvh into Motion Library
export as RL Motion
Export skeletal mesh from Maya
import into 3dxchange 7
convert to non-standard human iAvatar
send to iclone
apply the mocap rlMotion
export as Maya FBX file
import into Maya
DONE!
