Hi thanks for the great tutorial! Really helpful. How can I add more animations from Mixamo to my character? I tried to upload the vroid fbx character to Mixamo after the blender step, but it showed error of not matching the rigged bones. Your support is highly appreciated

ok this is an intereting way of doing it but I recommend VRM4U plugin.this will give you a cell shader, working texture with out going to, blander the plunging will let you add a skeleton with ue4/5 bone names.

One question, do I have to go through blender to make the shadows of the environment affect the character? If I export the VRM directly to UE in Lit mode, I have been able to project the shadows on the character itself, but I can't get the shadows from the environment, walls or other objects to affect the character
PD : As an addition: I have been using the different BPs of the VRM4U plugin in 5.1.1; Mtoon, Utils, MaterialUtil,… but none seem to be able to work on that, maybe I'm going too deep and it's a problem with the texture itself? some of the RGB uv,s lost?

should this work in 5.2? also does renaming the vrm to glb mess anything up? tried since theres no vrm4u on 5.2. ive found i can import the model without plugins that way, but i wasnt retargeting and i think the textures didnt work or just couldnt find em.

Plz reply!! how to animate cc3 models to mixamo with textures?

i imported cc3 model to blender with ccplugin for blender, but when i try to export that model, it doesn't export with textures 🥺.. im searching this problem to fix but i didn't got any solution… Please tell me how to fix?

Hope your looking at the mocopi mocap. This looks so incredible. Maybe u can buy and teach everyone how to use the great mocap suit in iclone…. for $400 its soooo much cheaper than rokoko 😉
