Lego
=============================
Lego is a line of plastic construction toys that are manufactured by The Lego Group, a privately held company based in Billund, Denmark. The company’s flagship product, Lego, consists of variously colored interlocking plastic bricks accompanying an array of gears, figurines called minifigures, and various other parts. Lego pieces can be assembled and connected in many ways to construct objects, including vehicles, buildings, and working robots. Anything constructed can be taken apart again, and the pieces reused to make new things.

=============================
Easy to Use
LeoCAD has an intuitive interface that is designed to allow new users to start creating new models without having to spend too much time learning the application.

At the same time, it has a rich feature set that enables experienced users to build models by using techniques that are more advanced.

LDraw Compatible
LeoCAD is fully compatible with the LDraw Standard and related tools, and it reads and writes LDR and MPD files so that you can share and download models from the Internet.

It also uses the LDraw parts library, which has almost 10,000 different parts and continues to receive updates.

Cross Platform, Open Source
Native versions are available for Windows, Linux and macOS to ensure that users are familiar with the program interface.

LeoCAD is open-source, so anyone can contribute with fixes and features, and it is always going to remain free.

LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this software.

    It is much more efficient to use COLLADA as export format. With that, all bricks are instanced, which is not only a big space saver but allows you to edit the bricks. And you need to do that for a high quality render as the topology of the exported bricks is very bad (triangles, many duplicate vertices etc.). I used LeoCAD to transfer a model created with Lego Digital Designer to Blender and created this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbVxSk737dU
